The
Li style form of Kung Fu. Feng Shou is an internal system
utilising all the principles of T'ai Chi posture and control.
Fast and continually flowing Feng Shou is generally
translated as 'Hand of the Wind'; you do not see the wind - you only
see its effects.
All the movements of Feng Shou link together to form a continuously
flowing action as opposed to separately performed techniques.
When applied properly Feng Shou is very
deceptive, the motto of the system being "The
Softness of a Butterfly's Wing but with the Hardness of Steel"
- this typifies the way the art looks when performed correctly. |
|
Feng Shou is ideally suited for both light or
semi-contact and full contact
